If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Happy Valley. Head southwest on W College Ave toward S Allen St. Continue on W College Ave for about 6 miles. Merge onto US-322 W and follow the signs for US-322 W towards Petersburg. Take the exit toward PA-26 N. After about 2.5 miles, turn right onto Unnamed Road. Continue straight for roughly 1 mile, and you will reach Stone Valley Recreation Area. Parking is available on-site, and it is free.

For those using public transportation, begin at the CATA (Centre Area Transportation Authority) bus terminal in downtown State College. Take the bus route that goes towards Petersburg. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Petersburg, you will need to use a rideshare service (such as Uber or Lyft) or arrange for a taxi to reach Stone Valley Recreation Area, which is approximately 3 miles away.
