Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Independence Hall, head east on Chestnut Street until you reach 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and walk south until you reach Arch Street. Then turn left onto Arch Street, and you will find the Betsy Ross House at 239 Arch Street on your right, approximately a 10-minute walk.

• Public Transit - Bus

  From the Philadelphia Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 11th and Arch Streets. Board the bus route 47 or 57 heading towards the northeast. Get off at the stop at 2nd and Arch Streets. Walk west on Arch Street for two blocks, and you will reach the Betsy Ross House located at 239 Arch Street.

• Public Transit - Subway

  If you're near City Hall, take the Broad Street Line subway (the orange line) from City Hall station. Ride southbound to the 8th Street station. Exit the station and walk east on Chestnut Street until you reach 3rd Street. Turn right and continue south to Arch Street, then turn left. The Betsy Ross House will be on your right at 239 Arch Street.

• Walking from the Liberty Bell

  Starting from the Liberty Bell Center, walk north on 5th Street to Market Street. Turn left on Market Street and then right on 3rd Street. Continue south on 3rd Street until you reach Arch Street, then turn left. The Betsy Ross House is located at 239 Arch Street, just a short walk away.
