Getting There

• Public Transportation

  From Reading, head to the Reading Bus Terminal located at 7th Street and Franklin Street. Take the BARTA bus route 14 towards Douglassville. The bus will take you directly to the stop at Old Philadelphia Pike. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Once you get off at Old Philadelphia Pike, walk approximately 0.5 miles southeast on Old Philadelphia Pike, and Morlatton Village will be on your left at 31 Old Philadelphia Pike, Douglassville, PA 19518.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, start at the Reading Public Library located at 100 S 5th St. Head south on S 5th St towards Washington St and turn left onto Washington St. Continue until you reach the Schuylkill River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Old Philadelphia Pike. Turn left onto Old Philadelphia Pike and continue for about 3 miles until you reach Morlatton Village at 31 Old Philadelphia Pike, Douglassville, PA 19518. This route is approximately 4.5 miles and mostly follows the scenic river trail.

• Walking

  For those who wish to walk, you can start at the Reading Public Library located at 100 S 5th St. Walk south on S 5th St towards Washington St, then turn left onto Washington St and continue until you reach the Schuylkill River Trail. Follow the river trail, which will offer a pleasant walking experience. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with Old Philadelphia Pike. From there, turn left and walk about 3 miles on Old Philadelphia Pike to reach Morlatton Village located at 31 Old Philadelphia Pike, Douglassville, PA 19518. This walk is approximately 4.5 miles and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
