Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the nearest major highway in Southern Alleghenies. If you are coming from State College, take US-322 W towards Philipsburg. After approximately 20 miles, take the exit towards PA-53 S. Merge onto PA-53 S and continue for about 8 miles. Turn right onto Beaver Rd (Route 2012) and follow it for about 2 miles. Black Moshannon State Park will be on your right at 4216 Beaver Rd, Philipsburg, PA 16866. There is no entrance fee for the park.

For those using public transportation, take a Greyhound or Megabus to State College. From State College, you can use the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) bus service. Take the CATA bus to Philipsburg. Once in Philipsburg, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Black Moshannon State Park, which is approximately 12 miles from the bus stop.
