Car
If you're traveling by car from Arequipa, start on Av. Ejercito and head towards the Panamericana Sur (Route 1S). Follow this road for about 70 km until you reach the town of Chivay, which is the gateway to Colca Canyon. The drive should take approximately 3-4 hours. Once in Chivay, follow the signs to Colca Canyon. It's about 30 minutes from Chivay to the viewpoint at Cruz del Condor, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the canyon and the Andean condors soaring above.
Public Transportation
To reach Colca Canyon using public transportation, head to the Arequipa bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre).
