From Arequipa city center, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Terrestre de Arequipa, located at Av. Venezuela 120. Look for buses heading to the town of Chivay or Cabanaconde. The bus ride will take approximately 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Chivay, you will need to switch to a local minibus or shared taxi heading towards Laguna de Salinas. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the national reserve.
