Public Bus
If you are located in Miraflores, head to the main avenue, Av. José Larco, and look for a bus stop. Take any bus heading towards the city center that has 'Centro' or 'Pueblo Libre' on its sign. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near the intersection of Av. Arequipa and Av. José Díaz. From there, walk east on Av. José Díaz for about 5 minutes, and you will see Estadio Nacional on your left.
Metro
From central Lima, make your way to the nearest metro station. Take Line 1 (the only line currently operational) towards Villa El Salvador. Disembark at the 'Estación La Cultura' stop. Exit the station and head northeast on Av. Arequipa. Turn left onto Av. José Díaz, and walk about 10 minutes until you see Estadio Nacional on your right.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
For a more convenient option, you can book a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Cabify. Simply enter 'Estadio Nacional, C. José Díaz s/n, Lima 15046' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the stadium. Be sure to confirm the driver's identity before getting in.
Walking
If you are close to the area, walking is a great way to see the local sights. From Plaza San Martín, head southeast on Av. Nicolás de Piérola. Continue onto Av. 28 de Julio until you reach Av. José Díaz. Turn left, and Estadio Nacional will be on your right, about a 20-minute walk from Plaza San Martín.
