The most direct route is to take the PE-5S highway. Upon reaching San Vicente, navigate to the coordinates 2WMP+8X5 for Lago Sanango. Parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.

    To reach Lago Sanango by public transportation, first, you will need to get to Yurimaguas from your current location within Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Look for local buses or shared taxis heading to Yurimaguas. Once you arrive in Yurimaguas, you can take a taxi or local mototaxi to San Vicente.
