If you are driving, start your journey from Cotabato City. Take the Cotabato-Tagum Road (also known as the Davao-Cotabato Road) heading north. Continue on this road until you reach the junction to Arakan. Turn left onto the Arakan Road and follow the signs leading to Arakan town. Once in Arakan, look for the signs directing you to Matigol Falls. The falls are located at C632+M4R, Arakan, Cotabato. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee for visiting the falls.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or a van from Cotabato City to Arakan. The trip usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Arakan terminal, you can take a tricycle to Matigol Falls. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand. The tricycle ride will take about 30 minutes, and you may also need to pay a small entrance fee upon reaching the falls.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking to Matigol Falls. From the drop-off point where your tricycle leaves you, follow the path leading to the falls. The hike is approximately 1 to 2 kilometers and can take 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your fitness level. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water. The path may be uneven, so exercise caution.
