Getting There

• Walking

  From the town center of Basco, head northeast on Basco Boulevard towards the airport. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Naidi Hills. Take a left turn at this intersection. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by the iconic Basco Lighthouse on your left. Continue straight until you reach a small hill. Tukon Chapel is located on top of this hill, marked by its distinctive architecture and beautiful surroundings. The chapel offers a panoramic view of the area, making the walk well worth it.

• Tricycle

  From your accommodation in Basco, you can hire a tricycle, which is a common mode of transport in Batanes. Ask the driver to take you to Tukon Chapel. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you through the road leading to Naidi Hills. Make sure to tell them you want to visit Tukon Chapel, and they will drop you off at the base of the hill leading to the chapel. From there, you can walk up the hill to the chapel.

• Hiking

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike to Tukon Chapel from the nearby Naidi Hills area. Start at the Naidi Hills viewing point, which is about 1 kilometer away from the chapel. Follow the trail that leads up the hill. The path is well-trodden, and you will be surrounded by stunning views of the landscape. As you approach Tukon Chapel, you'll notice its unique structure. The hike should take about 20-30 minutes, and it’s a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of Batanes.
