Walking
If you are starting from Mahatao town center, head north on the main road (Unnamed Road) towards the direction of the coast. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers. You will pass by local homes and scenic views of the sea on your left. Keep an eye on the road signs that indicate the direction to Tayid Lighthouse. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left path which leads to the lighthouse. After walking for another 500 meters, you will see Tayid Lighthouse perched on a hill.
Tricycle
From Mahatao town center, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Tayid Lighthouse. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tayid Lighthouse, and they will know the location. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the base of the hill leading to the lighthouse. From there, you will need to walk up a short path to reach the lighthouse.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Mahatao. Start by heading north on the main road (Unnamed Road). Follow the same route as for walking, which is about 1.2 kilometers. Biking will allow you to enjoy the views along the way. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left path toward the lighthouse. Park your bicycle near the base and walk up the final stretch to reach Tayid Lighthouse.
