Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Legazpi City, Albay. Take the Maharlika Highway (AH26) northbound towards Sorsogon. After approximately 80 kilometers, you will reach Donsol. Once in Donsol, look for the sign directing you to Dancalan Beach. Turn onto the local road leading to WH7P+P6X. The beach should be accessible by following this road for about 2 kilometers. Be mindful of local traffic rules and conditions.

Public Transportation - Bus

From Legazpi City, you can take a bus bound for Sorsogon City. Buses frequently depart from the Legazpi Bus Terminal, and the fare is typically around PHP 150-250. The journey will take about 2-3 hours. Once you reach Donsol, you can either take a tricycle or a jeepney to Dancalan Beach. The tricycle fare is approximately PHP 50-100, depending on your negotiation skills. Inform the driver that you want to go to Dancalan Beach, and they will take you directly to the beach entrance.

Public Transportation - Jeepney

Alternatively, after reaching Donsol by bus, you can opt for a jeepney ride to Dancalan Beach. Jeepneys to the beach are usually waiting near the bus drop-off. The fare is around PHP 20-30 per person. Just ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at Dancalan Beach, as some may not be familiar with the exact location and might need guidance.

Tricycle from Donsol
