Jeepney
From the city center of Cagayan de Oro, head to the main jeepney terminal located at Divisoria. Look for a jeepney bound for 'Malasag'. Once on board, inform the driver you are going to Mapawa Nature Park. The fare is usually around PHP 20-30. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Malasag junction, which is the closest stop to the park.
Walking
After alighting from the jeepney at the Malasag junction, walk towards Malasag Road. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see signposts directing you to Mapawa Nature Park. The path is well-trodden, but be cautious of the uneven terrain and keep an eye out for local signage.
Motorcycle Taxi (Habalan)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'habal-habal') from the Malasag junction. Negotiate a fare before starting your trip; it should be around PHP 50-100. The motorcycle ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes and drop you right at the entrance of Mapawa Nature Park.
