Car
From Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit at Santa Rosa. Follow the signs to Tagaytay and continue on the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway (also known as the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway) until you reach Laurel, Batangas. Once in Laurel, use Google Maps or GPS to navigate to the address 3V9W+GRF, Mamimilit Brgy, Laurel, Batangas, which is the location of Mt. Layas. Parking may be available near the trailhead, but be prepared for a short walk to the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Manila, take a bus bound for Batangas City or Nasugbu at a terminal such as Cubao or Pasay. The fare ranges from PHP 150 to PHP 250, depending on the bus company. Alight at the Laurel intersection along the highway. Once there, you can either take a tricycle or jeepney to Mamimilit Brgy. Inform the driver that you are heading to Mt. Layas. The fare for the tricycle should be approximately PHP 50 to PHP 100. Follow local signs or ask locals for the exact path to Mt. Layas once you arrive in the area.
