Tricycle
If you are in Mambajao, the capital of Camiguin, you can easily catch a tricycle to Ranchito. Head to the main tricycle terminal near the Mambajao market. Inform the driver you want to go to Ranchito in Quipasa. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the driver will know the location, as it’s a popular spot.
Walking
From the Mambajao market, you can also opt to walk to Ranchito if you enjoy hiking. Head south on the main road from the market towards Quipasa. It’s about a 45-minute walk, covering approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signage along the way, and ask locals for directions if needed. You will pass by some beautiful landscapes and local homes.
Habal-Habal (Motorcycle Taxi)
Another option is to take a habal-habal, which is a motorcycle taxi. You can find these near the market or along the main roads in Mambajao. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Ranchito. This can be a quicker option, taking around 10-15 minutes, and it’s a fun way to experience local transport.
