Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Butuan City. Head south on the National Highway (AH26) towards San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn right onto the road towards San Francisco town center. Continue on this road until you reach the town center. From there, follow the signs for Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at the coordinates 8.3167° N, 125.8667° E, about 15 kilometers from the town center. There might be minimal parking fees at the sanctuary entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary using public transportation, go to the Butuan City Terminal and take a bus or van heading to San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. The fare is around PHP 50-70. The travel time is about 1 hour. Once you arrive in San Francisco, hire a local tricycle or motorcycle (habal-habal) to take you directly to Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary for an additional fare of PHP 100-150. Ensure to negotiate the return trip with the driver if needed.
