Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Cebu City, head to the Cebu South Bus Terminal located at N. Bacalso Avenue. You can take a taxi or a local jeepney to get there. Once you arrive at the terminal, look for buses heading to Sibonga or any destination that passes through Sibonga. The fare to Sibonga is approximately 50-70 PHP. Make sure to inform the bus conductor that you are going to Birhen Sa Simala Statue. The bus ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. After reaching Sibonga, ask the driver to drop you off at the Simala Shrine; it's a prominent landmark, and they should know where it is. From the bus stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the statue.

The fare typically ranges from 100-150 PHP, and the trip will take about 1-1.5 hours. Similar to the bus, let the driver know your destination so they can drop you off at the Simala Shrine. Once you get off, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Birhen Sa Simala Statue.

  If you prefer a quicker and more direct route, you can use a motorbike taxi service like Angkas or Grab Bike. Open the app, and set your pick-up location in Cebu City and destination to Birhen Sa Simala in Sibonga. This option is more expensive, costing around 500-800 PHP, but it provides a direct ride without needing to transfer. The journey may take about 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic.
