• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tacloban City, the capital of Leyte. Head west on the Maharlika Highway (AH26) for approximately 2 hours until you reach Ormoc City. Once in Ormoc, continue driving towards Barangay Sayahan. You can use GPS navigation to guide you to the specific coordinates of Sayahan Falls (11.0118491, 124.7220989). Upon reaching the area, you may need to park your vehicle at designated parking spots nearby, and then walk approximately 15-20 minutes through a well-marked trail to reach the falls. Ensure you have cash on hand for parking fees, which can vary from PHP 20 to PHP 50.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Sayahan Falls using public transportation, take a bus from Tacloban City to Ormoc City. Buses leave regularly from the Tacloban bus terminal, and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Ormoc, you can take a local jeepney or tricycle to Barangay Sayahan, which will cost around PHP 20 to PHP 50. Inform the driver of your destination to ensure you are dropped off at the nearest point to the falls. From there, you will need to hike for about 15-20 minutes along a trail to reach Sayahan Falls.

• Motorcycle Taxi

  For a quicker and more direct route, consider using a motorcycle taxi (habal-habal) from Ormoc City to Sayahan Falls. After arriving in Ormoc by bus, look for habal-habal drivers near the bus terminal. The fare is typically around PHP 100 to PHP 200 per person, depending on your negotiation skills. The motorcycle ride will take you closer to the falls, from where you can walk the remaining distance. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow safety guidelines during the ride.
