If you are driving, head towards Taytay in Palawan. Follow the national road towards Taytay, which is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Puerto Princesa. Once in Taytay, navigate to the coordinates RGH9+93M. There are signs leading to Fort Santa Isabel, and you can use a GPS or map application to assist you in reaching the exact location. There is a parking area available near the fort.
Public Transportation - Van
From Puerto Princesa, take a van to Taytay. The ride will take around 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive at the Taytay terminal, you can either take a tricycle or a motorcycle taxi (habal-habal) to Fort Santa Isabel. The fare for the tricycle is typically around 30-50 pesos per person, while the motorcycle taxi might cost about 100 pesos per person.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from Puerto Princesa to Taytay. Buses leave regularly and the journey takes about 4 to 5 hours. When you arrive at the Taytay bus terminal, hire a tricycle or motorcycle taxi to take you to Fort Santa Isabel. Expect to pay around 30-50 pesos for a tricycle or about 100 pesos for a motorcycle ride.
