Car
If you're driving from Puerto Princesa, take the National Highway (AH26) heading northwest. Continue for about 230 kilometers until you reach the town of Culion. Once in Culion, follow local signs to the Culion Port. From there, you can arrange for a boat transfer to Darab Island where the Bay of Buddhas is located. Note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation (Bus and Boat)
Start your journey by taking a bus from Puerto Princesa to Culion. Buses leave from the San Jose Terminal and the journey takes approximately 6-8 hours, costing around ₱400-₱600. Once you reach Culion, head to the Culion Port to catch a boat to Darab Island. The boat fare usually ranges from ₱50-₱100, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the boat schedule in advance, as services may be limited.
Local Transport (Tricycle or Van)
Upon arriving at Culion, you can hire a tricycle or van to take you to Culion Port if it's not within walking distance. The fare for a tricycle ride to the port is usually around ₱10-₱20. Confirm with the driver that they will take you directly to the port for your boat transfer to Darab Island.
