If you are driving, start your journey from Puerto Princesa City. Head southwest on Rizal Avenue and continue on the Puerto Princesa to San Vicente Road. Follow the signs towards San Vicente and Balabac. The drive will take approximately 4-6 hours depending on traffic conditions. Once you reach Balabac, head towards Poblacion Barangay 5. You will need to park your car in a designated area and proceed to the boat terminal.

Public Transportation

From Puerto Princesa, take a bus bound for Balabac. The bus station is near the Puerto Princesa airport. Buses leave regularly and the journey lasts about 6-8 hours. Once you arrive in Balabac, you can take a tricycle to Poblacion Barangay 5. Here, you will find a boat terminal where you can hire a boat to take you to Onok Island. Be sure to confirm the boat fare in advance; it typically costs around PHP 1,500 to PHP 2,500, depending on the size of the boat and the number of passengers.
