Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main town of Boac, Marinduque. Head southeast on the Boac to Santa Cruz road (also known as Marinduque Circumferential Road). After approximately 16 kilometers, you will arrive in Santa Cruz. As you reach Santa Cruz, look for signs directing you to Ungab Rock Formation. The rock formation is located just a few minutes from the town center. You can park your vehicle nearby and then walk to the formation. Be aware of local traffic rules and road conditions, as they may vary.
Public Transportation
To reach Ungab Rock Formation via public transportation, take a jeepney or a bus from Boac to Santa Cruz. The fare is usually around PHP 50 to 70, depending on the vehicle and condition. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Santa Cruz, you can either hire a tricycle to take you directly to Ungab Rock Formation or walk if you prefer. The tricycle fare should be around PHP 20 to 30. Confirm with the driver that they know the location, as some may not be familiar with it.
