Getting There

• Private Car

  If you are traveling by private car, start from Legazpi City and take the Maharlika Highway (AH26) towards Camalig. Continue on the highway for approximately 14 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Camalig, look for the signs indicating 'Mayon best view' or use the coordinates 5JHV+QC2 in your GPS for precise navigation. Upon reaching the location, you will find a designated viewpoint offering stunning views of Mayon Volcano. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Mayon best view using public transportation, head to the Legazpi City bus terminal and take a van or jeepney heading to Camalig. The fare is approximately PHP 50 per person, and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Camalig, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to 'Mayon best view.' You may need to walk a short distance (about 1 kilometer) to the viewpoint. Alternatively, you can hire a local tricycle for about PHP 100 to take you directly to the viewpoint.

• Tricycle

  If you are already in Camalig and need to get to the Mayon best view, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to the location. Tricycle fares are typically around PHP 100-150 depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes from the town center.
