Car
If you're coming from Cagayan de Oro, take the national highway going east towards the town of Naawan. You will pass through the towns of Opol and El Salvador. Once you reach Naawan, look for the local signage directing you to Elson's Peak, which is located at 99VF+R93, Naawan, Misamis Oriental. The drive should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. There are no toll fees on this route.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cagayan de Oro, take a bus bound for Gingoog City or a local bus that stops in Naawan. The terminal is located at the Cogon Market. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to Naawan. The fare is approximately PHP 50-100, depending on the bus service. Once you arrive at Naawan, you can either walk or hire a tricycle to take you to Elson's Peak. The tricycle fare is around PHP 20-30 per person.

If you are already in Naawan and need to get to Elson's Peak, you can hire a tricycle from the town center. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, but it should cost around PHP 20-30 per person. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on the traffic conditions.
