If you're coming from Cagayan de Oro, take the national highway going east towards the town of Naawan. You will pass through the towns of Opol and El Salvador. Once you reach Naawan, look for the local signage directing you to Elson's Peak, which is located at 99VF+R93, Naawan, Misamis Oriental. The drive should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. There are no toll fees on this route.

From Cagayan de Oro, take a bus bound for Gingoog City or a local bus that stops in Naawan. The terminal is located at the Cogon Market. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to Naawan.
