Boat
To reach Pinagbuyutan Island, you must first make your way to El Nido, which is the nearest town with access to boat services. From wherever you are in Palawan, head to El Nido either by taking a direct flight to El Nido Airport or by traveling to Puerto Princesa and taking a van or bus to El Nido. If you arrive at El Nido Airport, you can take a tricycle to the El Nido town proper, which is about 15 minutes away. Once in El Nido town, head to the El Nido Port. Look for local boat operators at the port offering island-hopping tours. Make sure to confirm that your tour includes a visit to Pinagbuyutan Island, as not all tours do. The boat ride typically takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Island Hopping Tour
Join a pre-arranged island-hopping tour from El Nido that includes Pinagbuyutan Island in its itinerary. Many tour operators offer various packages (Tour A, B, C, or D), and you can inquire specifically if they cover Pinagbuyutan. Tours usually depart around 9:00 AM and return by around 4:00 PM. Be sure to bring essentials such as sunblock, water, and snacks. The tour will typically include stops at several other islands and snorkeling spots, making it a great way to explore the beautiful waters and landscapes of the area.
