From the center of Sagada, head towards the main road (South Road). You can start from the Sagada Municipal Hall, which is a good reference point. Walk down the main road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Echo Valley. Continue straight along South Road. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach a sign indicating Sumaguing Cave. The entrance is located just off the road on your right.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can take a hiking trail from the Hanging Coffins area. From the Hanging Coffins, follow the trail leading down towards the river. This path will eventually connect to the main route that leads to Sumaguing Cave. It’s a scenic route but can be steep and rocky, so wear appropriate footwear. After about 30 minutes of hiking, you will reach the cave entrance.
