Walking
From the center of Sagada, head towards the main road (Banaue-Sagada Road). Walk along the road until you reach the Sagada Public Market. From the market, continue walking straight until you see a sign pointing towards 'Balangagan Cave' on your left. Follow this path, which will lead you to a trail. The trail may be steep and rocky, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Continue on this trail, and you will eventually reach Balangagan Cave. The hike should take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you are starting from the Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins, take the pathway leading down from the viewpoint towards the main road. At the main road, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with a sign for 'Balangagan Cave'. Follow the trail indicated by the sign. This hike is more challenging, with some steep sections, but will take you through beautiful forested areas. The total time from Echo Valley to Balangagan Cave is around 1 hour.
