Start at the Sagada Public Market, which is a central point in Sagada. From the market, head southeast toward the main road (Calle Bontoc). Once you reach the main road, turn left and follow it for approximately 300 meters until you see the sign for the Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins. Continue along this road, and you will pass by several local shops and guesthouses. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction that leads to the Echo Valley. Take this road and walk for about 1 kilometer, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Look for signs related to the Blue Soil Exit or ask local residents for directions, as they are usually very helpful. The Blue Soil Exit is located at coordinates 17.0451382 latitude and 120.9189485 longitude, which you can find by using a maps application on your phone.
Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, start at the Sagada Tourist Information Center. From there, take the trail leading to the Hanging Coffins. After visiting the coffins, continue on the same trail, which will lead you to the ridge overlooking the valley. Follow the path downwards toward the Blue Soil area. This route is a bit rugged, so make sure you have proper footwear. It may take about 30-40 minutes to reach the Blue Soil Exit from the Hanging Coffins, depending on your pace. Remember to enjoy the unique blue soil and the surrounding landscape.
