Private Car
From Zamboanga City, take the National Highway heading north towards Dipolog City. The drive will take approximately 6-7 hours depending on traffic. As you approach Dipolog City, look for signs directing you to Virginia, Diwan. Once you reach Virginia, use your GPS or a map application to guide you to the coordinates 8.386923, 123.3642618 for Sungkilaw Falls. Be prepared for the last few kilometers to be on a bumpy road, as you will need to navigate through local roads to reach the falls.

Public Transportation
From Zamboanga City, head to the bus terminal and take a bus heading to Dipolog City. The fare is approximately PHP 400-600. The journey will take around 6-7 hours. Once in Dipolog, you can take a tricycle or a local jeepney to reach the vicinity of Virginia, Diwan. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off as close as possible to Sungkilaw Falls. From there, you may have to walk the remaining distance to the falls. Make sure to have cash on hand for transportation fees.

Motorbike Rental
If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Dipolog City. Rental costs can range from PHP 300-500 per day. After renting, follow the same route as above towards Virginia, Diwan. This option gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace.
