Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Gorlice, which is a central point in the Beskid Niski Mountains. From Gorlice, take the DK28 road heading southeast towards the village of Biecz. After approximately 15 km, you will reach Biecz. Continue on DK28 for another 5 km until you come to the turnoff for the local road that leads to Bukowica Range. Follow the local road for about 10 km, which will take you directly to the Bukowica Range area. Parking may be limited, so look for designated areas near the trailheads.
Public Transportation
To reach the Bukowica Range using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest major city, such as Kraków or Rzeszów, to Gorlice. From Gorlice, you can catch a local bus heading to Biecz. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may run infrequently. Once you arrive in Biecz, you will need to transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes towards the Bukowica Range area. Note that taxi services may have varying rates, so it’s advisable to confirm the fare beforehand. Expect to spend around 30-50 PLN for a taxi ride from Biecz to the Bukowica Range.
Hiking
If you are already in the Beskid Niski Mountains and prefer hiking, you can start from nearby villages such as Kwiatoń or Ropa. From Kwiatoń, follow the marked hiking trails going east. The trails are well-maintained and offer a beautiful scenic route toward the Bukowica Range, taking approximately 2-3 hours of hiking, depending on your pace. Ensure to carry enough water and snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear. This method allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the region while making your way to the Bukowica Range.
