Getting There

• Car

  From the nearest town, Drawno, head southeast on the main road (Droga Krajowa 20, DK20) towards Góra Chomętowska. Continue driving for approximately 6 kilometers, following the signs for Drawa National Park. Once you reach the entrance of the park, look for signs indicating Góra Chomętowska. There is a designated parking area close to the trailhead. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around 5-10 PLN per day.

• Public Transportation

  Take a bus from Szczecin to Drawno. Buses run regularly from the main bus station in Szczecin to Drawno, with the journey taking about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Drawno, you can either walk (about 6 kilometers) to Góra Chomętowska or take a local taxi, which should cost around 20-30 PLN. If you choose to walk, follow the signs towards Drawa National Park. The trail to Góra Chomętowska begins just outside the town.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Drawno. From the town center, head southeast on the DK20 road, following the same route as for cars. The distance is about 6 kilometers and the roads are generally bike-friendly, but make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules. Once you reach the parking area near the trailhead, you can lock your bike and continue on foot.

• Walking

  If you're already within Drawa National Park and prefer to hike, you can start from any of the nearby marked trails. Follow the signs towards Góra Chomętowska, which is about a 2-3 hour hike from various points within the park. Ensure you have a park map to navigate the trails effectively and bring adequate water and snacks for your hike.
