Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Gdańsk Old Town, head towards the Gdańsk Główny train station. From the station, exit to the main street, and then take a left onto ul. 3 Maja. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with ul. Wały Jagiellońskie. Cross the street and follow it as it curves into ul. Chmielna. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will encounter the Motława river. Turn right and follow the riverbank. After approximately 1 km, you will see the Westerplatte peninsula in the distance. Keep walking along the river until you reach the ferry terminal at the end of the pier. Here you can take a ferry to Westerplatte (please check the ferry schedule beforehand). Once you arrive at Westerplatte, follow the signage to the New Barracks - Westerplatte Walkable Ruins.

Public Transport (Bus and Ferry)
From the Gdańsk Old Town, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on ul. Długi Targ. Take the bus number 100 towards Westerplatte. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the final stop, which is Westerplatte. From there, follow the signs directing you to the New Barracks - Westerplatte Walkable Ruins. Alternatively, if you prefer, after getting off the bus, you can walk along the scenic path that leads directly to the ruins, which is about a 15-minute walk.

Biking
If you prefer to rent a bike, you can find bike rental stations in the Gdańsk Old Town. Rent a bike and head towards the Motława river. Follow the bike path along the river, which will lead you to Westerplatte. The ride is approximately 3.5 km and should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Westerplatte, you can park your bike at the bike racks near the entrance to the New Barracks - Westerplatte Walkable Ruins.
