Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Nowy Targ, which is a central hub in the Gorce Mountains. From Nowy Targ, take the DK47 road heading south until you reach the village of Kowaniec. Turn onto the road leading to the Gorce National Park. Follow the signs for Turbacz, and park at the designated parking area near Kowaniec. From the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 5 km to reach Hala Długa pod Turbaczem. The trail is well-marked and offers beautiful views along the way.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Kraków or Zakopane to Nowy Targ. From the Nowy Targ bus station, you can catch a local bus heading towards Kowaniec. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Kowaniec, follow the signs to the Gorce National Park and hike the 5 km trail to Hala Długa pod Turbaczem. The trail is well-maintained, and you can enjoy the stunning natural scenery.
Hiking
