Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Kampinos National Park, head southeast on the DK70 road towards Warsaw. Continue on DK70 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Warsaw. Once you are in the city, merge onto the S8 expressway and follow the signs for 'Warszawa Centrum' (Warsaw Center). After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit toward ul. Czarnieckiego. Continue on ul. Czarnieckiego for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Sokolnicki Fort at Stefana Czarnieckiego 51 on your left.

    Start by taking a bus from Kampinos National Park to Warsaw. You can take a bus from the nearest bus stop in the park. After arriving in Warsaw, head to the nearest metro station and take the M1 line (the red line) towards Młociny. Get off at the 'Marymont' station. From Marymont, you can take bus number 181 towards 'Czarnieckiego'. Get off at the 'Czarnieckiego' stop. Sokolnicki Fort is a short walk from there at Stefana Czarnieckiego 51.
