Walking
If you are in the heart of Old Town, make your way towards the Royal Castle located at Plac Zamkowy. From the castle, head down the main street, Krakowskie Przedmieście. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with ul. Nowy Świat. Turn right onto ul. Nowy Świat and walk for about 10 minutes. You'll pass by various shops and cafes, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the area. After you reach the intersection with ul. Królewska, take a left. Continue straight until you see a small alleyway leading downwards on your right. That is Kamienne Schodki, where the Stone Steps are located.
Public Transport (Tram)
For those closer to the northern part of Old Town, you can take a tram from the nearest tram stop, which is 'Plac Zamkowy'. Board tram number 22 or 24, heading towards 'Krakowskie Przedmieście'. Get off at the next stop, 'Muzeum Narodowe'. From there, walk back towards the intersection with ul. Nowy Świat, turn right, and then follow the previous walking instructions to reach Kamienne Schodki.
