Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Karpacz, which is well connected by road. From Karpacz, head southwest on Konstytucji 3 Maja Street towards ul. Obrońców Pokoju. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the Karkonosze National Park. There, you can find designated parking areas. Please note that parking may incur a fee, usually around 5-10 PLN per day. After parking, follow the marked trails to Dolina Pląsawy, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Dolina Pląsawy using public transportation, take a bus from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz. The bus ride typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Once in Karpacz, you can either walk to the entrance of Karkonosze National Park or take a local taxi for a short ride (approximately 10 PLN). After reaching the park, you will need to walk along the designated trails to reach Dolina Pląsawy, which is about a 30-minute hike from the park entrance.
Walking
For those already in Karpacz, walking to Dolina Pląsawy is a great option. Start at the main square of Karpacz and head towards ul. Obrońców Pokoju. Follow the signs leading to Karkonosze National Park. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and the trail is well-marked. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water, as the path can vary in terrain.
