Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Szklarska Poręba. Head south on DK3 road towards Karpacz. After approximately 12 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to the Karkonosze National Park. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach the parking area near the entrance to the park. Note that there is a parking fee of about 20 PLN per day. From the parking area, follow the marked trail towards the Viewpoint, which is approximately a 30-minute hike.

Public Transportation
To reach Viewpoint using public transport, take a bus from Jelenia Góra to Szklarska Poręba. The bus operates several times a day and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Szklarska Poręba, you can either take a taxi to the Karkonosze National Park entrance or walk to the park (approximately 2 km). After entering the park, follow the signs for the hiking trail leading to the Viewpoint, which will take you about 30 minutes on foot. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.

If you are already in the Karkonosze Mountains and prefer hiking, you can access the trail from various starting points. One popular route is from Karpacz. Head towards the Karkonosze National Park entrance and follow the blue trail markers. This hike is approximately 8 km and will take about 2 hours to reach the Viewpoint. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water and snacks for the journey.
