Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town, Jelenia Góra. Head onto the S3 expressway and follow the signs toward Szklarska Poręba. After about 15 km, take the exit toward Karpacz and continue for approximately 12 km. Look for signs to Przesieka, and once you reach the village, follow the local roads towards the Podgórna Waterfall. There's a small parking area near the waterfall, where you can leave your vehicle (note: parking might incur a small fee).
Public Transportation
To reach Podgórna Waterfall using public transportation, take a train to Jelenia Góra from major cities like Wrocław or Warsaw. From Jelenia Góra, board a bus heading to Przesieka. The bus ride typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Przesieka, you can either walk to the waterfall, which is about a 15-20 minute hike along a well-marked path, or look for local taxis that can take you to the waterfall entrance.
Walking from Przesieka
If you decide to walk from the village of Przesieka, start from the main road and follow the signs for Podgórna Waterfall. The path is easily navigable and leads you through beautiful forest scenery. The hike is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-30 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
