Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head south towards Grodzka Street. Walk along Grodzka Street for about 10 minutes, passing by St. Mary's Basilica on your left. Continue straight until you reach Wawel Hill. Once you arrive at the hill, walk up towards the Wawel Castle entrance. After entering the castle grounds, follow the path that leads to the left side of the castle, and you will find Baszta Sandomierska at Wawel 5.

    From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop named 'Teatr Słowackiego'. Board tram number 10 or 18 towards 'Krowodrza Górka'. After approximately 8 minutes, get off at the 'Wawel' stop. From there, walk towards the Wawel Castle.
