If you are in the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head towards the north-east corner where you will find the Floriańska Gate. Walk through the gate and continue straight along the street, which will turn into ul. Szczepańska. After about 10 minutes, you will see Jan Matejko Square on your right, just past the intersection with ul. Straszewskiego.

From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Teatr Bagatela' located on ul. Karmelicka. Take tram number 8 or 13 towards 'Borek Fałęcki' or 'Kurdwanów'. After 4 stops, get off at the 'Muzeum Narodowe' stop. From there, walk a short distance to Jan Matejko Square, which will be on your left.
