Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head southwest towards the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). Exit the square through the southern side, moving towards the St. Mary's Basilica. Once you reach the end of the square, turn left onto Grodzka Street. Continue straight until you reach the Vistula Boulevards and turn right. Walk along the Vistula River until you see the entrance to Planty Park on your left, beyond the Barbican.

  • Walking

    From Wawel Castle, exit through the main gate and walk down the hill towards the Vistula River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and follow the river until you find the entrance to Planty Park. The park surrounds the old city, and you can enter from multiple points along the river.

  • Tram

    Take tram line 52 from the nearest tram stop to your location. Depending on where you are, you may have to switch trams at the 'Teatr Bagatela' stop to line 1 or 3 towards 'Cracovia'. Disembark at the 'Planty' stop. From there, you can enter Planty Park directly.

  • Bus

    Catch bus number 124 or 152 from any nearby bus stop. Head towards the 'Wawel' stop, which is close to the southern entrance of Planty Park. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance north to find the park entrance.
