Walking
If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head east towards the Floriańska Street (ulica Floriańska). Continue straight until you reach the Barbican (Barbakan), a historical fortification. From the Barbican, turn left onto the Planty Park path. Follow the path that curves around the Old Town until you reach the entrance to Planty Park. The park will be easily visible and is well-marked.
Tram
From the Main Market Square, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located at 'Teatr Bagatela'. Take tram line 3 or 8 in the direction of 'Nowa Huta'. Get off at the 'Planty' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the entrance to Planty Park directly in front of you. It's a short walk from the tram stop to the park.
