Travel Guide to Lanckorona Rynek

Getting There

• Train

  From Krakow, head to the Krakow Glowny train station. Purchase a ticket to Lanckorona, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Once you arrive at Lanckorona station, exit the station and turn left. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the picturesque village center. You will see signs directing you to Rynek (the market square).

• Bus

  From Krakow, you can take a bus from the Main Bus Station (Dworzec Autobusowy). Look for buses heading to Lanckorona. The bus ride typically takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lanckorona bus stop, exit the bus and head straight. Follow the main road for about 800 meters until you reach the town square, Rynek.

• Bike

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Krakow and take the bike paths leading out of the city. Follow the Vistula River towards the south, then take the road signs directing you towards Lanckorona. The total distance is roughly 25 kilometers, which should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Lanckorona, head towards Rynek for the main square.

• Walking

  For an adventurous option, you could walk from Krakow to Lanckorona. Start at the Main Market Square and head south towards the Vistula River. Follow the river west until you reach the outskirts of the city, then navigate towards Lanckorona's main road. The entire walk is approximately 25 kilometers, which may take 5-6 hours. This route is ideal for those who want to experience the landscape and small villages along the way.
