Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Kraków city center. Head southwest on ul. Floriańska toward ul. Szewska. Continue straight onto ul. Straszewskiego, and follow the road along the Vistula River. Merge onto ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki, following signs for Zakopane. After approximately 3 km, turn right onto ul. Słowackiego. Follow this road until you see signs for the John Paul II Mound (Kopiec Jana Pawła II). There is a parking lot available near the base of the mound, but be aware that parking may have a fee, typically around 5 PLN per hour.

Public Transportation

To reach the John Paul II Mound using public transportation, start at the main bus or train station in Kraków. Take tram line 8 or bus line 100 towards Dębniki (Kraków). Disembark at the 'Kopiec' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the mound. Follow the signs leading you towards the mound, which is situated in a park-like area. Be aware that the tram or bus fare is around 4 PLN for a single journey.

For those already in Dębniki, you can walk to the John Paul II Mound. Start at ul. Różyckiego and head towards the Vistula River.
