Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), start by heading towards the north on Szewska Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Floriańska Street. Turn left onto Floriańska Street and walk for about 500 meters. The Jan Matejko House will be on your right at Floriańska 41.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are near the Kraków Główny railway station, take tram line 4 or 8 from the 'Dworzec Główny' stop. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Teatr Bagatela'. From there, walk south on Karmelicka Street until you reach Floriańska Street. Turn left and walk for about 200 meters to reach The Jan Matejko House at Floriańska 41.

  • Walking from Wawel Castle

    From Wawel Castle, exit towards the Vistula River and follow the riverside path north. Continue until you reach the footbridge (Most Wawel) and cross over to the other side.
