Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head south towards the Grodzka Street. Continue walking straight on Grodzka Street until you reach the intersection with Kanonicza Street. Turn left onto Kanonicza Street, which will lead you to a series of steps. Ascend the steps that will take you to Wawel Hill. Once you reach the top, follow the path that leads directly to Wawel Castle, located at Wawel 4, 31-003 Kraków.

  • Tram

    From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Teatr Bagatela'. Board tram number 8 or 10 heading towards 'Czerwone Maki' or 'Wola Duchacka'. Get off at the next stop, 'Wawel', which is a short walk to the castle. Once you disembark, follow the signs directing you to Wawel Castle, which is just a couple of minutes away on foot.
