If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head south towards the St. Mary's Basilica. From there, take Grodzka Street and continue straight until you reach the Vistula River. Cross the river using the nearest bridge, and then follow the path along the riverbank, heading south. When you reach the intersection with Józefa Street, turn right. Continue walking along Józefa Street until you reach number 38, where the High Synagogue is located. It should be on your left.

From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located at 'Teatr Bagatela'. Take tram number 8 towards 'Borek Fałęcki'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Starowiślna' stop. From there, walk south on Starowiślna Street until you reach the intersection with Józefa Street. Turn left onto Józefa Street and walk until you reach number 38, where the High Synagogue is located.
Bus
From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the 'Szczepanski Square' bus stop. Take bus number 124 towards 'Nowa Huta'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Miodowa' stop. From there, walk east on Miodowa Street until you reach Józefa Street. Turn right and continue walking until you reach number 38, where the High Synagogue is located.
