Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Old Town area of Krakow, head towards the main square by walking south on any of the main streets leading to Rynek Główny. Look for signs pointing to the square. As you approach, you will see the impressive St. Mary's Basilica on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the center of the square, marked by the iconic Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). Rynek Główny is the large open plaza where you can find numerous cafes, shops, and historical buildings.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are coming from the Krakow Main Railway Station (Kraków Główny), take tram line 2 or 6 towards 'Borek Fałęcki' or 'Wzgórza Krzesławickie'. Get off at the 'Teatr Słowackiego' stop. From there, walk east on the street until you reach the square in about 5 minutes. You will pass the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre on your right.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you are near the Wawel Castle, you can take bus number 100 or 152 from the 'Wawel' bus stop. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Muzeum Narodowe' stop. From there, walk towards the south for about 10 minutes, passing through the Planty Park until you reach Rynek Główny.

    From the Kazimierz district (the Jewish Quarter), walk north along Szeroka Street until you reach the Vistula Boulevards. Turn right and follow the Vistula River north for about 15 minutes. Cross the bridge and walk towards the Old Town. As you enter the Old Town, follow the crowds or signage to Rynek Główny, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the river.
