Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. From Warsaw, take the S7 expressway northbound towards Gdańsk. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Follow the signs for Generała Józefa Bema Street (500). The Modlin Fortress is located at Generała Józefa Bema 500, 05-160 Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Parking is available near the fortress, but check for any parking fees.

• Train

  To reach Modlin Fortress by train, take a train from Warsaw Central Station to the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, exit the station and take a taxi or use a local bus (line 1 or 2) towards Modlin Fortress. The bus stop is close to the train station. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Check local schedules for exact times.

• Bus

  For those opting for a bus, take the bus from the Warsaw bus station (Dworzec Autobusowy) to Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Upon arrival at the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki bus station, you can walk to Modlin Fortress, which is about 2 km away. Alternatively, you can take a local taxi or a bus (line 1 or 2) towards the fortress. Make sure to check the bus schedules for both departures and returns to avoid long waiting times.
