Getting there

Walking

From the center of Zakopane, head towards Krupówki Street, the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Walk along Krupówki until you reach the intersection with Tadeusza Kościuszki Street. Turn left onto Tadeusza Kościuszki Street and continue straight. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After about 1 kilometer, look for signs directing you to the Górny Płaj area of Babia Góra National Park. Follow the signs, and you will find a pathway leading you into the park. Mokry Stawek is approximately a 30-minute walk from this point. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way!

Public Transport

Start from the main bus station in Zakopane, located at ul. Szymony 1. Take bus number 11, which heads towards Górny Płaj. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Disembark at the Górny Płaj stop. From there, follow the signs for Mokry Stawek, which is approximately a 15-minute walk through the picturesque landscape of Babia Góra National Park.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Zakopane. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Mokry Stawek, Babia Góra National Park.' The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the scenic point. It’s a short walk from the drop-off point.
