Car
If you are driving, head towards Krościenko nad Dunajcem. From the center of the town, follow signs towards the Pieniny National Park. The road to Zamek Pieniński is well-marked. You will find a parking area near the entrance to the castle ruins. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with some cash.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transport, take a bus from Nowy Targ or Zakopane to Krościenko nad Dunajcem. The bus will drop you off at the main bus station in Krościenko. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20-30 minutes) towards the castle, following the signs, or take a local taxi. Walking will lead you through some scenic parts of the Pieniny Mountains, but be prepared for some uphill sections.
Walking
If you are already in the Pieniny Mountains and near the river, you can take a scenic walking trail from the Dunajec River. Follow the trail signs leading to Zamek Pieniński, which will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour of moderate hiking. The path offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains.
